College of Nursing Departmental Review Committee

The College of Nursing Departmental Review Committee is charged with reviewing all Human Subjects material before it is sent to the Human Subjects Protection Program. The Committee reviews faculty and student projects.

The sequence of review will be as follows:

The Departmental Review Committee meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Forms must be submitted 12 days prior to the meeting. Forms received less than 12 days prior to the meeting will be reviewed at the following meeting. All forms are reviewed in the Office of Nursing Research before being sent to the Committee.

After departmental review, feedback will be provided to the investigator if revisions are needed. One Committee member will review the revisions for approval and sign for Scientific/Scholarly Review.

When all signatures have been obtained, the form is then sent to the Human Subjects Protection Program.
