5th Annual UAHS LGBTQIA+ National Symposium & Community Fair

When

9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Feb. 10, 2023

The theme of this year's LGBTQIA+ symposium is "Inclusive and Affirming Health Care"

Founded in 2016, the UA Health Sciences PRIDE Health Equity Alliance (Previously UAHS LGBTQ+ Interest group) is committed to promoting and embracing equity, diversity, and inclusion by creating an equitable and encouraging environment for all UAHS students, staff, residents, faculty, and patients. Our National Symposium provides programming and education on LGBTQIA+ issues which pave the path to understanding and overcoming the adversities faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. We focus on increasing community outreach, informing advocacy efforts, and educating the community about the health issues affecting the LGTBQIA+ population.

Our University of Arizona LGBTQIA+ National Symposium & Community Health Fair is a hybrid event and is typically attended by 1,000+ community and national members.
