Two 2023-2024 Research Leadership Institute (RLI) cohort members are combining their diverse expertise and perspectives in a new research collaboration focusing on strokes.

Two Assistant Clinical Professors at the College of Nursing received a $1,482,169 Advanced Nurse Education‐Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program grant to expand sexual assault response services in rural areas of Region 9 (Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii, and the US Affiliated Pacific Islands) over three years.

The University of Arizona College of Nursing’s Shu-Fen Wung, PhD, MS, RN, ACNP-BC, FAAN, a professor and director of Nursing-Engineering Initiatives, received a $120,000 Technology and Research Initiative Fund grant for her Personalized Intelligent Care for Older Adults with Infections project.
