University Promotion Policies

The University Handbook for Appointed Personnel (UHAP) provides policies for personnel procedures. Promotion procedures for tenure and career-track faculty (nontenure-eligible) are covered by Chapter 3.3.

Note for Lecturer Faculty

Faculty in lecturer ranks are required to use most of the same dossier templates used by the professorial ranks. Confirm with your division head that you are using the correct forms.  Note that some of the templates are from the University and some were developed by the College of Nursing.
