Dean Leads National and Global Nursing Organizations
Brian Ahn, PhD, APRN, FAAN, Dean of the College of Nursing, currently serves as President of the Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) through December 31, 2027. His leadership advances the organization’s mission to promote health policy, leadership development, and scholarship among its members.
Ahn also serves on the Board of Directors of the World Academy of Nursing Science (WANS), a global consortium of more than 25 academic nursing organizations, including the American Academy of Nursing and the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science. Through this international collaboration, Ahn helps strengthen global research partnerships and advance nursing science and education.
