Information Sessions

Information Sessions and Application Workshops are available and hosted by advisors in the College of Nursing. Students must attend a workshop before requesting an advising appointment.

Apply through the College of Nursing

  • Applications for each cycle open approximately two months before the deadline. Students must apply through NursingCAS. 2 helpful resources are below to assist with questions on applying:
    • View our application checklist here to make sure you are completing all necessary steps in NursingCAS before, during, and after applying.

Apply to the University: Graduate College

  • Applicants must file a "Degree Seeking" application to the University of Arizona's Graduate College concurrent to their NursingCAS application in order to be considered for admission.

Timeline

Applications Open

  • Spring 2027: June 15, 2026
  • Summer 2027: November 2, 2026
  • Fall 2027: February 2, 2027

Application Deadlines

All applications close at 11:59 pm (EST). 
Applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis. For best consideration it is recommended to apply by the priority deadlines listed. 

Spring 2027 Deadlines

  • Priority Deadline: August 27, 2026
  • Final Deadline: October 29, 2026
  • Direct Admits can apply up until the Final Deadline
  • (priority given to Direct Admit University of Arizona graduates)

  • (prerequisite deadline January 1, 2027)

    *International Students must apply by the Priority Deadline

Summer 2027 Deadlines

  • Priority Deadline: January 14, 2027
  • Final Deadline: February 25, 2027
  • Direct Admits can apply up until the Final Deadline
  • (priority given to Direct Admit University of Arizona graduates)

  • (prerequisite deadline May 14, 2027)

    *International Students must apply by the Priority Deadline

Fall 2027 Deadlines 

  • Priority Deadline: April 15, 2027
  • Final Deadline: June 10, 2027
  • Direct Admits can apply up until the Final Deadline
  • (priority given to Direct Admit University of Arizona graduates)

  • (prerequisite deadline August 16, 2027)

    *International Students must apply by the Priority Deadline

Semester Start Dates

  • Spring: January 13, 2027
  • Summer: May 17, 2027
  • Fall: August 23, 2027

Notification of Admission

  • Notification of full Admissions is approximately 6-8 weeks after application deadline.
