How to Apply

The Nursing PhD application process has four steps, which you should complete in the following order.

Step 2:
Submit NursingCAS Application

First, apply to the College of Nursing by creating an account on the NursingCAS website and following the instructions to apply to the UA Nursing PhD program. It is important to complete this step first, as you will need information from this application for the subsequent step.

Step 3: 
Submit Official Transcripts

Official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended must be submitted directly to NursingCAS for verification and must be verified within two weeks of the application deadline. Incomplete or unverified applications will not be reviewed.

Step 4:
Complete Graduate College App.

After completing the NursingCAS application, you are then ready to create an account on the UA Graduate Admissions website. Once your account is created, you can start the second half of the application process for graduate admissions. The Nursing PhD program is listed as “Nursing (PhD)” within this application.
