The FFMind Project is working to determine if health education and meditation apps can reduce psychological distress for active career firefighters. The Project will be conducted 100% online from a smartphone, making it easy to participate from anywhere.

Are you an active career firefighter in Phoenix, Arizona or Milwaukee, Wisconsin?

You may be eligible to participate in this study at no cost to you if:

•You are 18 or older
•You are currently employed as a career firefighter and working active-duty shifts.
•You own a smartphone (iPhone or Android) able to download and run the study apps.
•You can understand English

What’s involved?

•Active-duty firefighters with smartphones will take part in a 10-day, app-based meditation or health education program and provide saliva samples to measure cortisol levels.
•You can participate from the comfort of your own home or at work.
•Gift cards to compensate you for your time.
                                                                         •All information shared is confidential.
